As part of World Italian Cuisine Week, a tasting event called ‘Aperitif Time’ was held at Mezza Üst Kat. The evening featured Italian dishes and beverages for the guests’ enjoyment.
ORGANIZED by Tuba Lüleci Alaçam, the event was attended by numerous foreign mission representatives and guests, including the Ambassador of Italy in Türkiye, Giorgio Marrapodi, and his wife, Loriana Marrapodi, as well as the Ambassador of Netherlands in Türkiye, Joep Wijnands, and his wife, Carmen Wijnands.
APERITIF CULTURE
The ‘Aperitif Time’ event aimed to showcase Italian aperitif culture by serving signature Italian delicacies. Special cocktails prepared by Kutay Özoktay complemented the iconic flavors of Italian cuisine, which the attendees highly appreciated. Speaking at the event, Ambassador Marrapodi expressed his pleasure in promoting the flavors of his country.
Later in the evening, percussionist Taner Uykun performed, accompanied by Tuba Lüleci Alaçam as the DJ. Their music ensured an unforgettable night for all participants. During the evening, a surprise birthday celebration was held for the Italian ambassador’s wife, Loriana Marrapodi, who had just celebrated her new age.
