PROMOTING PEACE
In his speech, Ambassador Purnama emphasized that film is not only a means of entertainment but also a powerful tool for promoting peace, harmony, and mutual respect. The Ambassador stated, “Film is a tool to build bridges, not walls, which is essential in a world where trust is lacking and suspicion is abundant.” Purnama highlighted that the MIKTA Film Festival provides a platform for sharing values and building connections through universal stories.
The film Bad Signal aimed to introduce viewers to Indonesia’s rich culture, diverse society, and the natural beauty of its regions, particularly Sumba Island.
