THE festival, at CerModern’s Open-Air Stage, brought together 18 artists from 9 countries. The advisory board of the festival was formed by Deniz Alp, Özgür Adam, and Galip Emre, pioneers in contemporary dance in Turkey. In addition to Turkiye, dancers from Italy, Spain, Portugal, the Czech Republic, Argentina, South Korea, Germany, and Georgia performed. Throughout the festival, dance workshops and talks were also held for participants.
The Solo Contemporary Dance Festival aims to contribute to the development and promotion of modern dance in Turkey, foster international cooperation, and, most importantly, make contemporary art a social event.
