Tulip Arrangement by Korean Artists

The exhibition “Beautiful Flower Meeting Hanji” by Korean artists Youngeun Kwon and Younghyun Kwon, consisting of floral designs made of the traditional Korean paper “Hanji”, was opened for visitors at the Korean Cultural Center.

Looking at the ‘Mugunghwa’ and ‘Tulip’ works made with Hanji exhibited today, I hope that the relations between Korea and Türkiye will become even closer and stronger. Artists Youngeun Kwon and Younghyun Kwon explained that they used Korea’s national flower ‘Mugunghwa’ and Türkiye’s unique ‘Tulip’ in their designs, and said, “The point we want to draw attention to in this exhibition is to compare how similar the flowers made of Korea’s traditional paper are to real flowers. Until October 31, the exhibition can be seen at the Korean Cultural Center.
