PARTNERSHIP IN ANTARCTICA

In his speech, Ambassador Tcholakov highlighted the celebration of both National Day and the strong partnership between Türkiye and Bulgaria. He emphasized their collaboration in politics, economy, tourism, culture, security, border management, migration, and academic research.
Tcholakov noted that Türkiye, Romania, and Bulgaria, all NATO members bordering the Black Sea, had signed an agreement to combat the threat of mines. He also praised their exceptional partnership in Antarctica and significant cooperation in polar research.
HIGH-LEVEL DIALOGUE

Justice Minister Yılmaz Tunç underlined Bulgaria’s key role in regional security and stability. He stressed the continuous collaboration between Türkiye and Bulgaria in trade, security, energy, transportation, tourism, and environmental issues.
“With Bulgaria’s new government in place, we hope to strengthen dialogue through high-level visits,” Tunç stated. “It is gratifying to see the positive impact of our joint efforts in border security and the fight against irregular migration.”
