K-JAZZ PROJECTS TO CONTINUE

Jeon Seungcheol, Director of the Korean Cultural Center, expressed his excitement at presenting the Sori Quartet, a renowned group of female jazz musicians from Korea, to the Istanbul audience. “Since our center is based in Ankara, we usually hold major concerts and events there. However, we are thrilled to introduce the Sori Quartet to Istanbul audiences through this year’s Akbank Jazz Festival,” he said. Highlighting the growing international recognition of Korean jazz musicians alongside K-pop, drama, film, and K-classic, Jeon emphasized the importance of promoting their performances to local audiences. “Promoting their performances to local audiences is one of the Cultural Center’s key goals. We will continue with K-Jazz projects in the future,” he added.
