K-JAZZ PROJECTS TO CONTINUE

Jeon Seungcheol, Director of the Korean Cultural Center, expressed his delight in being able to present Sori Quartet, a group of leading female jazz musicians from Korea, to the Istanbul audience. “Since our center is based in Ankara, we usually hold major concerts and events there. However, we are very pleased to have introduced the Sori Quartet to audiences in Istanbul through this year’s Akbank Jazz Festival. In addition to K-pop, drama, film, and K-classic, Korean jazz musicians have been gaining increasing international recognition in recent years. Promoting their performances to local audiences is one of the Cultural Center’s key goals. We will continue with K-Jazz projects in the future,” he said.
