WITHIN the scope of the Türkiye Culture Road Festival, the opening of the exhibition, organized in collaboration with the Hungarian Embassy, Hungary Central Bank, and CerModern, was attended by the Director General of Fine Arts at the Ministry of Culture and Tourism Ömer Faruk Belviranlı, the Government Commissioner of the Hungarian Ministry of Culture and Innovation Peter Hoppal, the Hungarian Ambassador to Ankara Viktor Matis, the Head of the Cultural and Art Department of the Hungary Central Bank Kinga Hamvai, and numerous guests.
INSTINCT AND DIGITAL AESTHETICS
Curated by Hungarian curator and art historian Gabôr Rieder, the exhibition features works where instinctive forms and digital layering meet, showcasing a wide range of visual production methods explored by young Hungarian artists, presenting instinct and digital aesthetics in a broad spectrum.
Speaking at the opening, Hungarian Ambassador Viktor Matis expressed his pride in hosting this exhibition and thanked the Ministry of Culture and Tourism for their support. Kinga Hamvai, Head of the Cultural and Art Department of the Hungary Central Bank, provided detailed information about the exhibition and expressed her gratitude to those who contributed.
THE EMBRACING TEXTURE OF CULTURE AND ART
Belviranlı noted that events are being held in both countries as part of the Hungarian-Turkish Cultural Year and said, “I believe that the embracing texture of culture and art will make our bonds with our Hungarian friends even more unbreakable and will further strengthen our strategic partnership.”
GOAL TO STRENGTHEN RELATIONS
Peter Hoppal, Government Commissioner of the Hungarian Ministry of Culture and Innovation, emphasized that the government attaches special importance to programs that foster the friendship between the two countries, stating, “As with every diplomatic event, the goal this year is to further strengthen the already initiated and ongoing Hungarian-Turkish relations and collaborations in the fields of economy, trade, education, innovation, and politics.”
Following the speeches, the Györ Ballet Company performed using the exhibition hall. The exhibition will be open to visitors every day, except Mondays, from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM until November 10.
