The third edition of the Sound of Europe Festival, organized by the EUNIC (European Union National Institutes for Culture) İstanbul and Ankara clusters and supported by the European Union’s Creative Europe Program, in collaboration with the Kadıköy Municipality, Çankaya Municipality, and İzmir Metropolitan Municipality, has come to an end.
The festival drew an impressive crowd of nearly 9,000 attendees, offering an unforgettable experience filled with rhythm and harmony. Featuring 25 concerts, the event showcased the talents of over 50 local and international artists across three cities, creating a vibrant tapestry of music and culture.
A BROAD RANGE OF GENRES
The festival dazzled music lovers with its eclectic lineup, spanning genres from jazz and rock to hip-hop, rap, solo piano, and electronic beats. Drawing significant attention, the event brought over 50 local and international artists to the stages of three major cities. Highlights included Senza, channeling the Mediterranean spirit with their Portuguese-inspired melodies; Zuzanna, weaving folk influences with deeply personal lyrics; Gaidaa, a rising R&B and soul sensation; Mezzotono, an Italian a cappella group whose performance felt like an intimate conversation; and 7th Sense, captivating audiences with a mix of soul, nu-jazz, electronic, and world music.
