The final of the 5th “K-Pop Cover Dance Festival,” organized in collaboration with the Korean Cultural Center and Seul Newspaper, took place at Ata Stage. Fifteen groups from different regions of Turkey performed to compete for top honors.

THE event at Ata Stage was attended by South Korea’s Ambassador to Ankara, Jeong Yeondoo, and the Director of the Korean Cultural Center, Seungchul Jeon. Out of more than 75 teams that applied, 15 groups made it to the finals. Ambassador Yeondoo, Cultural Center Director Jeon, and members of the jury, which included members of the famous Korean K-Pop group The Kingdom, selected the winners. The first-place winner earned the right to represent Turkey in the world final in Seoul.
In his speech before the competition, Ambassador Jeong Yeondoo highlighted the relationship between Turkey and Korea, stating, “We hope to continue these relations through events with our brother country Turkey and its youth.”
