The 79th anniversary of Indonesia’s independence was celebrated with a reception. At the event held at the Indonesian Embassy, Indonesian dance and music groups performed.

THE reception, hosted by Indonesia’s Ambassador to Ankara Achmad Rizal Purnama, was attended by Minister of National Defense Yaşar Güler, former Prime Minister Binali Yıldırım, numerous ambassadors, and other guests. In his speech, Ambassador Purnama noted that Indonesia’s Vision 2045 aims to become one of the world’s top five economies. He stated, “We need the continuous support and cooperation of our friends around the world, and I am confident that Turkey will be a partner on this journey.” Purnama also touched on the bilateral relations between Turkey and Indonesia.
BONDS OF BROTHERHOOD
Minister Güler highlighted the long-standing bonds of friendship and brotherhood between the two countries, stating, “These ties, which have endured from the past to the present, continue to lay the foundation for multifaceted cooperation and strong friendship between our countries, shaping our shared future.”
Indonesian dance and music groups, participating in traditional costumes and makeup, created colorful scenes at the celebration.
